We asked 112 neutral volunteers to wear each perfume for a month and tell us the truth — as it went on, at four hours, at eight hours.

Half men, half women, aged 20 to 55. Each wore a perfume for 30 days and reported three times a day: what they smelled as it went on, what was left at four hours, what was left at eight.
Eight hours is the hard checkpoint. It is where a perfume either is still there or isn't. We built the test around it because it is the hour that matters to you: the end of the working day, the start of the evening.

A reformulation is a trip back to the bench. When the panel said a perfume had faded, we changed the formula and tested it again, for another month. Contra needed three rounds. Iceberg, the fresh one, needed nine: fresh perfumes are the hardest to make last, and ours had to.
Hours are what the panel reported, not what we hoped. Your skin, the weather and the number of sprays will move them a little.
Indian climate
Tested where you will wear it: Indian climates, from the workday into the evening. The heat, the humidity and the hours are the ones you actually live in.
Ingredient honesty
- 20% perfume oil in every bottle. We print the number.
- Five formulations of our own. Each was built, and rebuilt, until the panel said yes.
- Perfume oils from France, Spain, Italy and India. Made in India.
- Macerated for months before bottling.
